JDescribe provides both standard description as well as DNA™ Dual Narration Added formats in English and French for television, film and documentaries.
DNA™ Dual Narration Added- is a method of description whereby dual narration is added in the form of male and female narrators. This allows for a more dynamic and entertaining delivery of description. DNA™ was initially conceived during the process of choosing male vs female narrators for particular projects. At times it was difficult to determine which would better suit the piece, thus the idea of using both was born. Adding a dual narrative track lends itself to a more dramatic and varied performance for the listener. After hearing DNA™ layered into a film we knew there would be countless applications where this format could be showcased.
I've studied singing, theory and commercial voice work/narration at the Royal Conservatory of Music, York University and Ryerson.

At the present time I am working on my third cd which will have original music as I collaborate with a diverse & unique Toronto songwriter.
In 2012 I recorded the audiobook "An Original Sin" written by Nina Bangs
for Dark Desires Audio a division of Audiorealms., and look forward to other titles currently in production.
I am a non-union artist and have recorded virtually every genre of voiceovers for many years since I first started singing jingles as a teen. I've worked with and recorded for stations such as Citytv, MTV, TacTV, The Food Network, YTV, CBC, The Comedy Network, Star TV, Space, and Bravo!

My narration has been heard in countless special programming & mini-series which include: Holocaust and the 2010 Winter Paralympics. I continuously record e-books for children, teens and adults.
I was awarded the "Ontario Volunteer Service Award" in 2009 for my narration for Voiceprint Canada over the years providing narration for the vision -impaired.
During the year 2008 I was awarded the prestigious "IAAIS" (International Association of Information Services) award for narration -program of the year.
In 2007 after recording renditions of Elton John songs- which led to the donation of funds raised for Voiceprint Canada through sales; my singing was acknowledged on the highly respected eltonjohnworld.com worldwide fan website for the money raised.
I have recorded DV (Described Video) narration for television stations: movies, shows/programs and promo's currently airing on television....These styles include: comedy, science- fiction, adult content such as the comedy network, sitcoms, children's programming plus animation and documentaries. I have also voiced for audio books, e-learning, medical text as well as trailers/promos airing nationally for the many specialty channels throughout the country.
