Sleeping With The Past: Voiceprint Canada is a division of the National Broadcasting Reading Service which deals with all Canadians, but especially those who are aging, have literacy and vivision problems, or are mobility impaired. Among their 600 volunteers, reading and broadcasting articles, is Melissa Ungar. She is aiding the organisation further by donating at least a portion of the proceeds from her debut album. Checkered Past consists of 10 cover songs, half of which are Elton's: Border Song; Sorry Seems to be The Hardest Word; Levon; Don't Let The Sun go Down on Me, and Mona Lisas And Mad Hatters.
